One of the more seldom seen classic vintage Rolex watches is the Oyster Precision as Rolex made most watches of this style with a date. It features a much thinner profile than the Perpetual models due to its hand-wound movement, and its understated and very classic design contrast the "busier" look of some of the modern Rolex watches. Made for less than three years, the 6022 is one of the more uncommon mid-century Oysters.

Its Oyster case is in excellent condition. Its silver dial has been professionally restored. And the movement is clean. The crown has been previously replaced - it would originally have had a Super Oyster crown - and the new crown has the same non-screwed down style as the original.
